a day like 111 years ago, was shot dead in Moca, President Ulysses Heureaux (Lilís), one of the most controversial leaders, who held power five times in 17 years .

Heureaux was shot dead on July 26, 1899 by Ramón Cáceres (Mon), Horacio Vasquez, who would reach the presidency of the Republic and the teenager Jacobo de Lara.
